button search tools

I just installed the abook in joomla 3
the problem is that the  button search tools dont work
it dont show the filters.
in the options, in the Search configuration, to the Filters I put  Show but nothing
I must do anything else?

have you create an "Alexandria Book Library » Search" menu item type?

I reinstalled the cms and the component
now its ok
