lots of problems - component is not good

Categories are going crazy in this component. When i ad new categories, old dissapear, links to books are  broken... this makes me going mad. Order of categories change grrrr  :'(

I use Alexandria Book Library 3.1.0

on Joomla! 3.4.3

the categories dissapear in the frontend or backend view?

In frontend. e.g. I have category Jaargang LVII - 2015 with 15 books in backend, but they don't show in frontend.
