Hi mrizwan,
this days, developing the sh404 plugin is not in the to do list, because abook already works with the embedded Joomla SEF.
But if you need it you can contact us here (http://alexandriabooklibrary.org/en/component/contact/2-abook/1-abook-staff-abook-staff.html) for this customization.
