How can I get an alphabetical list of authors?
in front page.
Or how do I make link from the menu to the authors instead author
Or know a plugin to do this?

the view by authors is not implemented.
Al mondo ci sono 10 tipi di persone, quelli che hanno capito il codice binario e quelli che non l'hanno capito.

this is not possible. You must change the source code.
