I am just wondering if there is a way to alphabetize the author list in the New Book section of the Library?

I would also like to add my request to allow front end users (site members - Joomla community builder) to add their own books.
An internal/external browse for the URL for the link to the book file would also be nice.

This is a wonderful package - Thank you for the time you spent making it.

Hi ArchAngle,
many thanks for the compliments!
Now there is not a view for the author list, but this may be one thing I will do.

This is a great features, but now Abook is not structured to be a multiuser community with a personal books list.

I did not understand what you mean, perhaps mean you a search in to files associated to books?

When you enter the book for the first time - the system requests both an URL Label and an URL (external link) - it would be nice if you could search your web site to add the files for the book that you had previously uploaded.

I hope this is clearer!

I understand  :).
On next release I will add the ability to add a file (ie: ebook) in to books. The Label and URL label will only be used for link to other sites.

That is great to hear - Thank you
Also would it be possible to be able to organize the author list in the add book section - right now it just displays the authors names in the order they were entered -- I reset the order in the author list - can easily alphabetize them there - but not in the list on the book entry page.

Alexandria Book Library 1.1.0 is out!  ;)
With features that you mention. Thanks to Federica for her work!
You can download Alexandria Book Library here
You don't need to uninstall previous version, just install new version over (make a backup first, just to say).
Have a nice abook!
