Seens problem was in virtual hosting.
I have installed it locally and have no any problems during installation.

I have some problems, when i try to add books or authors.
Am i need to create new topics?
When i try to add new authors i have this

When i try to add new books i have this

Hi Bebrona,
user id 428 does not exists in your joomla installation. You have to set the correct user in "Created by" field of book then save it.

Hi Bebrona,
Abook allows data export/import only within the same version.
I don't know any migration tools from Abook to another extension.

Hi leo_biker,
"Could not find XML file to install package" means the installation xml file is not readable or corrupted after unzip process.
I suggest to unzip the installation package in a folder in your local device (eg: /abook_installation) then copy that folder to the /tmp folder of you web site (eg: website/tmp/abook_installation).
At this point you can try to install Abook using "Install from folder" tab (see https://docs.joomla.org/images/d/d9/Help-4x-Extensions-Manager-Install-InstallfromFolder-screen-en.png).

Hello.
I have the same error like in this topic
I have downloaded com_abook_4_0_1.zip from this page
So arhive must be ok.
What is the reason can be?
Also it's impossible to install it from JED.

You have to copy the tables from old database to new web site database directly by Phpmyadmin then install Abook.
The import file is not required.
