Print Page - Override for JHTML::

If I want to modify the output of JHTML::_('icon.search'); in the view book/default.php, where do I find this? or is it truly in the helper class and can't be created as an override?

ok, could fix it.
just did take the code snippet from the helper and inserted it instead of the function call.
could now change everything like I wanted.
