problemi installazione di knoppix

Ciao a tutti!
quando faccio partire knoppix v3.8.2 da cd mi restituisce questo errore:
Scanning for USB/Firewire devices....Done
Can't find KNOPPIX filesystem, sorry.
Dropping you to a (very limited) shell.
Press reset button to quit.

additional builtin commands acaliable:
       cat           mount        umount
       insmod      rmmod        lsmod
knoppix#

ho seguito anche le istruzioni che fornivano in questa discussione:

ma l'errore non riesco proprio a risolverlo.   
qualcuno sa come risolverlo?

hai un computer molto vecchio ?

prova all'inizio a premere F2 e scrivi:

knoppix nodma

e dai invio

il pc è un dell precsion T3400 intel core 2 Duo CPU E8200 2.66GHz con kubunto installato.
avevo già provato scrivendo knoppix nodma, ora per scrupolo ho riprovato, ma nulla di fatto
il problema rimane.

prova al boot con:

failsafe

prova senza scrivere knoppix (se non ricordo male...)

Anche così non funziona,
forse il file .iso non va bene, proverò a scaricarlo nuovamente e a masterizzarlo, ma non penso che sia questo il problema.



PS: scusate se ho scritto kubunto invece di kubuntu.

potrebbe essere, magari masterizzalo alla velocià più bassa possibile...

si potrebbe provare anche con altri parametri...

il fatto è che il file system sta su CD quindi se non lo trova il problema potrebbe essere anche di natura hardware...

ho provato a digitare :

knoppix testcd

ma non mi ha visualizzato nessun messaggio riguardo al test,
quindi devo supporre che sia tutto ok, ovvero il cd è integro?
