Hi dibu,
the current version of Abook is not ready for joomla 5 but I will develop it. I haven't a timeline.

I just released a beta version of Abook (v 4.0.3) for Joomla 5. Download (https://alexandriabooklibrary.org/en/downloads/27-components.html)
If you try it let me known if it is ok.
