Title: [SOLVED] plg_jcomment_abook question
Post by: ramon51 on 10 March 2011, 09:55:03
I've downloaded the component "plg_jcomment_abook", I've unpacked it, I have created the folder "components/com_jcomments/plugins/" and I have copied the file "com_abook.plugin.php" in that folder.

What do I have to do now to activate the component?

In the list of Plugins of Joomla does not appear this plugin.

Hi ramon51 and welcome to the forum.
I think you have not installed jcomments, because com_jcomments/plugins must exists, it's a standard jcomments folder.
Copying com_abook.plugin.php in com_jcomments/plugins is the only thing you have to do. After that the plugin is working itself.
Let us know if you solved.

I have previously installed component "com_abook" and it does not create any folder "components/com_jcomments/plugins".
After installing the component only asked me to create two folders: "images/abook" and "images/abook_file. "

Sorry, but I thought the extension "JComments" was included in the component "abook". I've seen that is an external extension and now everything works fine.

Thank you very much for "abook".

joomla 2.5.4/jcomments 2.3.0/ABL 2.0.2/plg_jcomment_abook 1.0.0

Comments in the work papers, to vote, but ABL does not. what could be the reason?

Hi,
the jcomment plugin plg_jcomment_abook 1.0.0 supports joomla 1.5 only. I will publish the new jcomment plugin (joomla 2.5 version) as soon as possible.
