Hi
I have recently started using Alexandria book library on my website. It is an excellent library extension and I have enjoyed creating a library with it.
The only issue I am having is when I try and search for a book.
Each time I try, I do not see any results. I have tried different settings in joomla and Alexandria book library but still can't get it to work.
I am using the protostar template with Alexandria book library at the moment is this correct?
Here is a link to the Library also.

I would really appreciate any ideas you might have to get it working.
Kind regards
Matthew
I Matthew,
many thanks!
Check if exsists an Abook Search menu item. If doesn't exsists create it. When you make a search Abook will retrieve the right menu item then it will shows results to you
Hi Federica
Thank you for the reply. Once I had made a new Menu Item called Abook Search
and then selected the search menu type. I then went into the Alexandria Book
Library Configuration and in the Search tab I selected Layout (Search).
Fantastic! Now It Works.
Many thanks you are awesome! :D
Matthew
:) I'm happy!
If you like Abook remember to post a review in Abook joomla page JED (http://"https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/alexandria-book-library/") so someone can knows it better through your words
Hi Federica
Of course I will write a review as soon as Joomla.org allows me to. I have been having trouble with a security message every time I try and write a review on there.
Thanks again for all your help. Alexandria Library has been a great implementation to my website and look forward to continuing to use it in the future.
Best wishes
Matthew :D
good day
How can I organize a multilingual search? For example, the author wrote books in different languages. Now the search gives the books of this author in each language separately. Where can I map the author so that the search shows books in different languages in total
Hi rob,
