I have some cases where I  need to set two dates.
Probably this field is limited to only 4 digits. Is there a way to extend it to 9, separated by a hyphen? For example: 2010-2016?
Any workaround for this?

Thanks,

Solved. This has to be done in MySQL tables and allow more characters,
I choosed VARCHAR, because i can make use of special characters like a question mark, where we are not sure of the date.
