I wrote yesterday about the problem with the translation after the rename of the files. the Alphabetical pagination doesnt work.every letter I hit they all show all authors.there is an another problem in the new category form. the field parent category doesnt work properly. I put without parent but it saves it in parent of another category and if I change it, it doesnt fix it.

I just tested the field parent category without the language installation. the field doesnt work properly.the problem isnt from the translation. it must be from the com_abook_3_1_0 files

we change the $options[$i]->value = 1; and it is ok we can save a new category with no parent.
then we save some books with a category
everything is ok and the books appears ok in the site
now I go to make a new category
then in some of my books I want to change the category.
after the change of the category in a book the component fails.
in the book form it says the message
Page Not Found
The page you are looking for could have been deleted or never have existed*
I tryed it without the installation of my language package
the same.

If you change the category in a book then the url change.

and try the two books you see Page Not Found
but .....
if you go from the main menu in the ΣΥΝΘΕΤΗ ΑΝΑΖΗΤΗΣΗ
and try the two SAME books
they are there. they are ok
in the module and in the menu item Authors they are not playing
and in the menu item Search the new url is ok

Disable the SEF and tell me if you see the same errors.
Try to create one book and one cetegory with latin title.
I disabled the SEF
and created book and category with latin title.
the same errors. nothings changed for better.
for worst changed the manu item Tags. it shows the groups one in the row.
not 3 in a row I set it.
a new error I noticed is that
when Im in menu item Search and make a selection in the filters
Ι took the result in books ok
but after that if I put all the filters in the zero condition ''select ....'''
then the page breaks and I took this (attachment)

Im student in the university and I want to use this component for a work-project.
I could from the beginning use the 2.5 version but there was the 3.1.0 version
and decided to try it. but now I see that I dont have enough time to make the project.
almost 3 months I trying to tell you about these errors.
please suggest me what to do. work with the 2.5 version or wait a little more?

I looked your site but I don't saw the book and category with latin title or widthout SEF.
You can try to write alias field with latin title.
If you don't have enough time I suggest to install the old version, so you can upgrade later.
I tried to create an article in a sub-sub-category of joomla content. If I use greek language the error is the same. I think it is a joomla bug.
I suggest to install latest joomla version, then joomla developers will fix the bug, in the meantime you can publish the book without SEF or write latin language alias.

I installed the 2.5 version
in the modules there is the same problem
''The requested document was not found on this server.''
but in the items search and tag group the page of the book is ok

in the first page is the modules
in the 2 other menu items it is ok
nothing also with the SEF
just disappointing
I tried the latest Abook version, without SEF the issue doesn't appear.

I updated to Joomla! 3.4.1 Stable with the the latest Abook version
the issue doesn't appear
so far works good
I like so much this component.
I would be very disappointed if I couldnt use it.
